Read Micah 6:8

Bees are amazing and very important creatures. Through pollination, which is basically plant reproduction, bees help to provide nearly one third of the earth’s food supply. Without the important work of bees, the world would be a completely different place. Bees were created by God to do what they do. It’s all part of the grand design of the Creator God.

Mankind was also created with an important function to carry out to make the world what God intended. God shares this through the prophet Micah…

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8 NIV

Just like the bees are created to pollinate the flowers, the followers of Jesus are called to “pollinate” the world with the love of a merciful and gracious God. It is the calling of God’s people, the reason for their life and existence, to make God’s name famous. This is best done by living lives that reflect who He really is!
